Fleishman is in Trouble -- Taffy Brodesser-Akner

I started out loving Toby Fleishman, and then I couldn't stand him. I wondered all along where Rachel, his soon to be ex wife had disappeared too. And I became a little frustrated with Libby, the narrator. I think that was part of the point. It would be almost a romp, if it wasn't dark on the inside. The book is unsettling, but also a little glib. The depths of relationships, the lives of successful women, the neediness of a certain type of man, a life of privilege, nature, nurture are all brought into play. Glad I started it again. A worthwhile read.
