Not sure how I felt about this. I like interwoven stories, but there was something stilted in the telling. The plot was interesting, but the writing seemed to lack depth. But, I was happy there was a little bit of a love story with Nora and Jeremy, and justice did eventually prevail. The setting in the Mojave was different, and the idea of the musician and the vet getting together was nice. Although prejudice was key, it was underplayed.
