Lucy by the Sea - Elizabeth Strout
This is the best book I've read about the early days of the pandemic. Lucy and William escape Manhattan and head to Maine to stay safe. They rekindle their relationship and learn again to live together. Lucy's internal voice is primarily the story, and it is moving and heartfelt. From her loneliness to her feelings for her daughters, you always know what Lucy is thinking. I loved this book. For a while I thought Lucy Barton is becoming a schtick for Elizabeth Strout, but I cried at the end.
