This Time Tomorrow -- Emma Straub

This was fun! Emma Straub owns Books are Magic, so I read this to support authors who own indie bookstores, but I really enjoyed it. It's light, but not too light. What I loved most was the relationship between Alice, the main character, and her dad Leonard. I was talking to colleagues at work about how time travel seems more common in stories these days, and we wondered if it is because it does not seem so implausible with the world today. Hmmm...anyway, this was a sweet read about family, success, friendship, and love, that's maybe a little fantastic, because Alice travels in time, but it is also tender, poignant and more than a little funny.
