When Suleika Jaouad's journal of her cancer journey appeared in the NY Times, I was captivated by her. Although I felt like a voyeur reading of her cancer struggle, I avidly read her columns whenever they were published. Now, 10 years later, she continues her story, this time on another type of journey, one of self-discovery. Her powers to examine her emotions, motivations and dreams are as strong as ever. As she looks back on her illness, and travels the country looking for new direction, I cheered her on every step of the way. Her story is one of courage and determination that is truly admirable.
