Long Bright River -- Liz Moore
I liked this book and found it somewhat frustrating at the same time. I was moved by Kacey, the damaged sister who is addicted and apparently lost. If anything, I felt a lack of empathy for Mickey, the policewoman sister, looking for her. I felt frustrated by Mickey's behavior. I kept wondering is she really a cop? So many bad decisions. There is a mystery at the heart of the story, but the relationship of the sisters is really the crux. And, the relationships were interesting. As for the mystery, the police corruption was an unexpected twist. I liked it.
