A gripping novel of deception, identity, war and refugees. The writing is amazing; sentences and images jump off the page. Along with the horror of war and the duplicity of the main characters existence, there is also laugh out loud funny moments. The author wants the reader to be unsettled and disturbed by this story, and he succeeds. War is hell, ghosts torment the living, and being of two minds splits the soul.
