After reading and loving A Gentleman in Moscow, I though this would be grand. The word I would use to describe this novel is fluffy. Kind of funny, sometimes a little moving, somewhat atmospheric, but on the whole wispy. 1930's New York City was fun to experience. The characters had some heart. I never fully embraced Katherine the main character, and the others felt like they flitted through...A fast read...good for the beach or travel.
