Fates and Furies -- Laura Groff
Took me a little while to get into "Fates and Furies," but I did get hooked, especially in the second half. The book is divided into a husband (fates) and wife's (furies) view of their lives. Both are complex, self-interested sorts, but there is certainly love between them. A novel that raises questions on what is love, fidelity, need and talent. Beautifully written. I would agree with the NPR reviewer who found the characters somewhat wooden, but on the whole, I was intrigued throughout.
