I hadn't read a mystery in a while and think I'll stick with staying away. While the story of the modern day IRA is interesting, and the strong love Tessa has for her son is powerful, I had a hard time believing the plot. That two working, every day women, are somehow allowed to become emmeshed with the IRA just did not ring true. They talk on busses and no one hears. They seem to have no big picture. Not my cup of tea.
