Let the Great World Spin -- Colum McCann
NYC in the 70's, a collage of characters, subtly intertwined. A lovely read. Beautiful language and an interesting premise. The story is tied together by Philippe Petit who walked a tightrope between the twin towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. Much of the early action is in the South Bronx...brought back some memories of Hunts' Point. There were a few loose ends that could have been sewed up a little better, but on the whole, I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
