A Little Hope - Ethan Joella

A very sweet debut novel about neighbors and families that revolve around each other in a small Connecticut town. More poignant than bittersweet. I once had a discussion with a friend about all the novels with interwoven stories, and she noted that it is easier to write that way. One story leading into another. There are children, and children lost, and loves, and loves lost in this story. On the whole I was charmed. (A couple of asides: I liked the cover when we had this in the store and remembered it. The whole time I was reading it I thought it was written by a woman. A man makes sense now that I think about it.)
