Poignant and disturbing, Never Let Me Go pulled me in and held on. As the story unfolded at a pace that propelled me forward line by line, the plot revealed itself incident by incident. As Kathy tells of her life and the lives of her two friends, Ruth and Tommy, my understanding of where the story was leading both fascinated me and made me twinge. A tale of love, friendship, privilege and loss, Never Let Me Go left me pondering science, medicine and power.
