A sweet, tender read. A housekeeper is asked to care for a mathematician with a brain injury. He can only remember 80 minutes and then his day starts again. As she learns to communicate with him, through intention and through numbers, they become close. Her 10 year old son also learns to love the gentlemanly soul, especially in their shared love of baseball. A touching tale of empathy, friendship and living in the present.
