"Underground Railroad" was a worthwhile read. Felt a little bit like a history lesson, but I did find the characters interesting and the story moving. While there is quite a bit of violence, I came away with a fuller understanding of the lives of black slaves in the South. What horror we have allowed in our country. At least Cora makes it out alive.
