The Garden of Last Days -- Andre Dubus III

This book takes place in Sarasota..the main character works at a strip club (modeled on Cheetah) and her involvement with one of the men who trained at the flight school in Venice FL prior to September 11, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huffman_Aviation. I  made it through about 80 pages and they never left the strip club. It made me feel like I smelled like cigarettes, bad booze and dangerous sex. Enough.
