Just what I needed, a coming of age story that I could relate to. Although the story of Rachel, James and Carey (James Carey), takes place in 2010 in Cork, Ireland, there was something about the feel of their world that I was able to grasp on to. Working in shops, in bars, graduating late, getting caught by love, and feeling out-of-control, are all things I remember from a time in my 20s. Funny, poignant, and heartfelt, The Rachel Incident is a great read.
