A disturbing read about a terrible marriage. Some of the scenes in Neve and Edwyn's relationship made my skin crawl. I felt the fascination of watching something implode. Thankfully, there is a little bit of humor involved, or I would have put the novel down. It's an uncomfortable book written in a clear, detached style. Interesting, but not necessarily enjoyable.
