Interior Chinatown -- Charles Yu
I kind of liked this book, but there was an overall feeling of detachment to it. I felt like I never really got to know any of the characters very well, even Willis Wu, the narrator and main character. An actor in a cop show, he plays "generic Asian male," but longs to be "Kung Fu guy." At times funny, but I wish the author had left the acting set more often to give the reader real emotion. Still, I'm always interested in getting another view of the world, and Asian male is very far from my background.
