What a lovely read. I was overtaken by this book. Casey is so sympathetic, you have to love her. She works as a waitress (win right there for me), she used to work in a bookstore (win number 2), she's writing a novel, her mother just died, and she is trying to juggle two men. Not too complicated. What I really loved is how Casey perseveres. Filled with both humor and pathos, this book was my favorite kind of read, one that has you laughing and crying. King is an exceptional writer. While she set scenes up so I knew what was coming, her language and depth of description still took me by surprise. I loved it!
