An absolutely wonderful graphic novel about racism, love, fitting in, politics and family. The narrator/author is of Indian descent, but was born in the US. Dark-skinned, she experiences racism first hand. Her eventual husband is white and Jewish, her son dark-skinned, inquisitive and hopeful. Reliving the period from pre-Obama era to Trump, Jacob's shows us the unwitting racism all around us. A moving and insightful look at the world today.
