There was something about this book that truly touched me. I found I couldn't put it down. That normally doesn't happen to me. There was so much love and humanity in the characters mixed with totally believable emotions. When a terrible event happens, these two families should be torn apart, but through forgiveness, Kate, Peter, Francis, Anne and Lena (and George too) realize that they have made it through to the other side and are loved and are all a family together. Great read!
From the Kirkus review:
"Graceful and mature. A solidly satisfying, immersive read." Agree!
