Sometimes after reading an intense novel (like "The Good Father"), I like to kick back with a good mystery. Unfortunately, this one did not really fit the bill. While I liked Commisario Brunetti, I wasn't that interested in what wines he was drinking. I started to lost interest about half-way through. Persevered, but then found the resolution (which had to do with snuff movies) highly implausible. I will say the Venice setting was interesting. Oh well.
