A Gentleman in Moscow -- Amor Towles
"A Gentleman in Moscow" was a charming read. The Count, Alexander Rostov, may be one of the most likable characters in literature. With a heart of gold, he spends his imprisonment in the Hotel Metropol with extreme grace. From his relationship with Anna the actress, to his love and acceptance to raise a daughter that is not his (and at a late age), Alexander is a stand-up guy. I got just a little confused in the last section, but was glad that Sophie was able to defect and that Alexander was finally free. Alexander shows us how to accept what is given to us and to make the best of every situation.
