"The Vegetarian" was an engrossing, disturbing read. As the husband, brother-in-law and sister's lives swirl around Yeong-hye, who has stopped eating meat due to her dreams, she begins to dissolve. From a NYTimes review "Han’s glorious treatments of agency, personal choice,
submission and subversion find form in the parable." And, ultimately have us as the question, "Why is it such a bad thing to die."
