I had stopped reading Anne Tyler quite a few years ago...to maudlin, but I read so many good reviews of "A Spool of Blue Thread," I dove in. I think I'll stop reading Anne Tyler again. Or, maybe I've just read too much "domestic fiction" lately. One self-centered bunch of folks. The section on Junior and Linnie Mae was interesting, but the present day family, I would not want to get to know them at all. Oh well. Now I know.
