The Time it Takes to Fail -- Margaret Lazarus Dean

"The Time it Takes To Fall" was one more novel from the perspective of a 13 year old. Almost gave up. Delores was bright and bratty and on the whole not very nice. Interesting insight into the space program, but none of the characters were ever really fleshed out. Her dad seemed like a nice, naive guy, but her mom, the other kids, her sister, were all sketchily drawn. Not sure I would recommend.
