Miss Peregine's Home for Peculiar Children is written by Ranson Riggs who grew up in Sarasota. It is being made into a Tim Burton movie, which makes sense. Read this for a project and have to say forgot about it as soon as I was done. Phantasmagorical, unbelievable, and somewhat fun. There are more in the series...I think I'm done.
