I was just reading Jessamyn West's blog, Librarian.net, and she mentions her other blog, BeenReading, where she posts about all the books she has read during the year. There are some other blogs I follow like Aylet Waldman's Booklog, that also do this.
I like that idea. I don't have the patience to have 2 blogs (jeesh, I haven't posted here in months), but that would get me posting more often and help me remember what I've read (which I'm not good at).
So, I'm going to start now and make this my new years new leaf.
The last two books I read were The Secret History by Donna Tarrt, which I liked much more then I expected--and The Runaway by Alice Munro.
The Secret History had a Gothic feel, and was an odd after the fact mystery. Definitely kept my attention.
The Runaway was a collection of linked stories. I'm a huge short story fan, so this was right up my alley. The stories were very serene, yet moving. Each one it's own universe.
